Strangers and Friends

It's quite a strange thing how a stranger can become friend, so deeply intertwined with your life, unknown to both at first encounter. It's quite a strange thing how a friend of a friend may never be known to you how they know them. But this borrowed familiarity has a trust and warmth and potential of your own. It's quite a strange thing how a stranger in one place, becomes a familiar face when you see them in another place, as if God or the universe wanted you to know each other more. It's quite a strange thing how the strangers we pass by hold stories, fears, opinions, and jokes that we will never know. Hundreds of missed opportunities. Thousands of impossibilities. It's quite a strange thing how a stranger who becomes a friend can become a stranger once again.
