Lessons From the Trees
My father once told me (In Chinese) as we were walking together along a forested path in seattle: There are many lessons to be learned from the trees. The following are some of those lessons I’ve Learned since then...
1. Growing together is more fun than alone.
2. Slow is more sustainable than fast.
3. Seeds are planted often when you don’t even notice. You see the fruit later.
4. Make time to reflect.
5. There are seasons that may require more rest.
6. Hang in There.
7. Love deeply.
8. Spending time outside nourishes the soul.
9. Be open to Sway with the wind but Stand up for the things you be-leave in.
10. Green is actually a nice color.
